We are special.  When you hang with the Ice Breakers you won't get lost in the shuffle. We don't leave people on the mountain and we look after our own. After a hard day of skiing you'll find us at happy hour, in the hot tub, followed by dinner at a restaurant or cooked by club members. In the evenings we play games or just sit around the fireplace and talk. But if there's a party, WE'RE IN (but not too late, cause we hit the mountain early the next day). I can't ski ... what's in it for me? Don't despair. All of our members started out as beginners. We improved with lessons and practice, and some of us are now among the top skiers in the http://www.nbs.org/" target="_blank">NBS. Our "warm up" trip features daily instruction, and day trips to Ski Windham & Belleayre Mountain, just a short ride from New York City, offer opportunities to learn to ski economically. And, as an intimate group, it's not hard to find a member who's willing to give you a few pointers on developing your technique. We also offer non-ski activities like the Frying Pan party, our annual fundraiser, summer picnic, bike riding, concerts, shows, and other activities that our members and friends enjoy. So if you want the best, you'll find a likeminded group in the Ice Breakers.
