NBS Demographics

The NBS touches 20,000 winter sports enthusiasts, with a split of 85% adults and 15% youth. The organization's adult membership is 60% female, 40% male, 54 % are single, 40% married, and 6% are single parents. 94% of the adults have attended college, 75% have at least a college degree, with the 60% in the $50,000 - $100,000 household income range. Professionally, NBS members are everywhere, private sector, public sector, and self-employed. The membership is geographically dispersed across the four regions of the US, Midwest, Rocky Mountain, East and West.

NBS members are passionate dedicated people. The elected leaders of the National organization have held prominent positions in their regions and prior to that their local clubs. Our members continue to demonstrate their commitment to the NBS mission, as conceived by our founders, with continued participation in the Ski Summit and other NBS events.
