    History
The Gem City Gliders Ski & Bike Club’s first meeting was held April 5, 1993 at Princeton Recreational Center.  Ten Corbeau Ski Club members living in Dayton attended with other community members.  Club colors chosen were goldenrod, black, and white.  Accepting the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS) Bylaws, we were accepted as an NBS club in August 1993, at the Midwest Region meeting held in Minneapolis, MN. We were chartered with 30 members, operating as a ski and bike club year round from October 1st through  September 30th of the following year.
