HISTORY

The Double Diamonds Ski and Sport Club (DDSSC) was formally organized in December 1989. One year later, the DDSSC became a fully sanctioned member of the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS), an association of predominantly black ski organizations dedicated to developing Olympic skiers. The NBS comprises 80 ski clubs nationwide in 22 states, including 62 cities with over 14,000 members, both youth and adults.

DDSSC offers activities and programs for families as well as individuals of all ages. Our ski activities include Alpine and Nordic skiing. DDSSC is a year-round sports club offering white water rafting, horseback riding, golfing, cookouts, hiking, biking, jazz festivals and other sources of sports and entertainment.
