Andrea Yowman, National President
Andrea has been affiliated with the National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc. since 1989 and is an intermediate skier. She has participated actively to fulfill the goals of the organization at the local, regional and national levels serving in many key positions. At the local level she is currently a member of the Ski Jammers Ski Club of Houston, TX, where she served as President and held other positions such as Trip Chair, Membership Chair and Public Relations Chair. At the Regional level, positions held included Regional Director and Regional Vice President. During her tenure as Regional Vice President, two new clubs were added to the Rocky Mountain Region; the youth camp was expanded during the Thanksgiving and Rockyfest Youth Camps to expose more youth to the sport of skiing. This past year, a youth was accepted to the NBS National race team. Over the last four years, she has actively worked on the national level on the NBS Board of Directors and taken on major roles such as participating in contract negotiations with resorts, heading up the Olympic Scholarship Fund Raisers (Pontiac GMC Raffle and HBO Jill Scott concert), participating on the site selection committee and most recently, chairing AMCC 2002.

Andrea is a graduate of the University of Houston with a B. S. degree in
Business Technology Human Resources. She is an independent consultant where
her credentials include 22 years of progressive experience in global human
resources, providing knowledge and expertise in implementing leading edge
enterprise human capital management strategies. She provides strategic vision
and execution of large HR projects, integrated solutions and re-engineering
processes that are cost effective and value added in a constantly changing
complex environment
